New things come in GREAT packages!

This last week we made an "accidental" purchase of a SLR camera online.
Well it arrived
We HAD to test it out
Here are some of the shots of Carter that we took
Colors look better, people look better, focus is better...
Why did it take us so long to get one?

Playing with Dad...
Possessive of his bottle (soft subject for me but managing)
Check out those chubby cheeks!

Decision?
Do you even need to ask?
Best "accident" ever!

YAY for fun new things.
@David - we were pricing out different options on Amazon and I needed help with the baby so when he put the computer down (its a laptop) he accidentally hit the submit button for the order. (Our credit card is on file) So.... that's how.
As for the camera we got the beginners camera the Nikon D3000. It is perfect for our needs!
@ Emily - THANK YOU! For you help in finding us a perfect fit :)
@ Caroline - Thank you sweetheart. I hope you find yourself and amazing SLR too!

If it makes you feel any better, I have also made accidental purchases on amazon - but nothing to this extent. (You do know you can cancel orders before they ship, right?) Anyhow, good choice on the Nikon. I've been a fan for years. Can't speak to the D3000, although I am sure it is a good product. If you need tips, let me know.

Look at baby Carter. He's plumping up, more for me to nibble on.
